so much of what surrounds us today is made to be thrown away. plastic hair ties snap, stretch, and end up in landfills ~ shedding microplastics into our waterways and into our bodies. they’re harsh on hair, breaking strands instead of caring for them. i began shaping copper adornments as a way to offer something different. instead of disposable plastic, i wanted pieces that are alive, sustainable, and meant to last. copper can be gently reshaped if it bends, polished if it darkens, and treasured instead of tossed. it protects your hair, honors the earth, and carries a quiet energy with it
